Polis hosted the third SAVI Data & Drafts event on Aug. 20. Unai Miguel Andres, GIS and Data Analyst; Matt Nowlin, Information Designer; and Jeramy Townsley,Visiting Research Analyst presented information about the changes in needs in Marion County (as shown by 2-1-1 calls) since the pandemic started, the effects that recent unemployment will have in eviction rates, and the distribution of demographic makeup of rental assistance applicants within the county. Thirty-two people attended the online event. Data & Drafts is conducted in partnership with WFYI and Indianapolis Public Library as an extension of our SAVI Talks program.
