join us in welcoming Kayla Knox Duncan who joined Polis as Equity Data Analyst on March 6. She will be responsible for analyzing data from various sources to identify disparities and will present key findings at public event events and develop partnerships. This information is used by audiences and leaders in nonprofits, community-based organizations, government, and academics to inform reports and equitable policies and practices. Kayla also presents key findings to public events and fosters partnerships to promote knowledge sharing. Prior to joining Polis, Kayla was a project consultant with Transform Consulting Group, an Equitable Initiatives Officer with The Indianapolis Foundation, and a Data Analysis Consultant with The Learning Tree. She earned a master’s degree in sociology from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. degree in sociology from Indiana University. Kayla is a certified Racial Equity Institute program facilitator and a SAVI Grow Super User.
