Karen Comer and Matt Nowlin present a break out session, “Health Equity and Data,” during the Oct. 1 Connections IN Health, Leveraging Connections to Address Health Equity program of the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI). They will provide an overview of Polis Center data resources and expertise that can assist Connections in Health coalition members identify health and social inequities and design community interventions. Their presentation will include recent examples of how Polis has collaborated with community partners to help identify and address health equity. Connections IN Health is a team of experts focused on some of Indiana’s most chronic conditions, including asthma, cancer, cardiovascular disease and diabetes.
